Back in early April, the Rochester Downtown Alliance made the decision to delay the start of Thursdays Downtown. At that time organizers decided to cancel all of the dates in June and start the popular weekly event on July 2nd. The start date has been pushed back again to July 9th.

The RDA sent an email Tuesday afternoon to downtown stakeholders explaining that they are following guidance from the City of Rochester and its cancellation of July Fourth festivities: "One of our greatest priorities is to keep the public safe. We will continue to monitor the City’s events and activities updates, as well as state and national event recommendations, and will be prepared to adjust as needed."
