Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police say a woman's habit of failing to show up for court hearings or pay court-ordered fines has led to her arrest on felony drug charges.

Police Captain Casey Moilanen says an officer patrolling Essex Park in northwest Rochester late Tuesday night came upon a car in the park nearly an hour after closing time. The officer stopped the vehicle and found it was being driven by Terra Sohns, who was placed in custody due to her history of not paying fines and missing court appearances.

Captain Moilanen says Sohns was being processed into the Olmsted County Jail when she was searched and a member of the jail staff discovered 42 grams of methamphetamine hidden in a body cavity.
