Rochester Teen Pleads Guilty in Drive-by Shooting Case
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester teenager who was accused of taking part in a drive-by shooting earlier this year has pleaded guilty.
18-year-old Osbel Ornelas entered an Alford plea to a drive-by shooting charge in Olmsted County juvenile court. An Alford plea means he admits there is enough evidence to lead to a conviction.
He was 17 when the incident occurred in February.
Police say a home in the 3800 block of Willow Ridge Dr SW was hit by six bullets and one was found inside the residence. Two people were there but were not hurt.
Another teenager charged in the case pleaded guilty earlier and was sentenced last week to 6 months in jail. 18-year-old Adres Green was also placed on probation for up to 10 years.
