Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman who was recently recorded on video stealing a package from outside a home was caught in the act Tuesday.

Police Capt. John Sherwin says there has been a rash of package thefts in recent days. Sherwin says many of them have occurred at townhome communities that have a designated drop-off spot for packages.

Undercover officers started watching some of the communities and their effort paid off Tuesday when a woman was seen taking two packages that had just been left at the Crystal Bay Townhomes site near Bamber Valley School.

Arrested was 41-year-old Angela Clemens, a suspected meth user. Sherwin says Clemens was linked to three other cases, including the one that caught her in the act.
