They roads are not fun. I was driving down to Preston from home and it wasn't the most wonderful time of the year, as it really should be this time of year.

The Fillmore County Deputies Association agrees. On their Facebook page, they urged area residents to stay at home and listen to KFIL!

Don't believe me? Check out the Facebook post, HERE

Okay, so they didn't really say listen to KFIL, but it is a great idea! We have Christmas music playing for most of the afternoon, so be sure to tune to that!

Southeast Minnesota is in a Winter Storm warning until 6 p.m. today, and we will roll right into a Wind Chill Advisory from 6 p.m. on Saturday until Noon on Sunday. Temperatures are suppose to reach -7 degrees, and with Wind Chill added in, it will feel like -30 to -45 degree below zero.

Yes, you read that right.

In all seriousness, stay home and stay safe. We are expected to get another three inches of snow today, and then some very arctic-like temperatures. Visibility will be a huge issue, too, so don't drive unless you absolutely have too. Also, plan ahead and give yourself extra time to reach your destination.

A big thank you to everyone out there keeping the roads cleaned up the best they can! Everyone appreciates it!
