Minneapolis, MN (KROC AM News) - Last year’s American League Manager of the Year is out of a job. Reports have indicated the Minnesota Twins have fired Manager Paul Molitor.

According to Bob Nightengale of the USA Today, the Minnesota Twins have decided to part ways with the St. Paul native after a disappointing 78-84 season.

Molitor, 61, managed the Minnesota Twins for four seasons with a career mark of 305-343, making the postseason one time in 2017 where the Twins lost to the New York Yankees.

The Hall of Fame player had over 3,300 hits in his playing career with the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, and the Minnesota Twins.
