I haven't seen any evidence that this is true but if I had to guess I'd say someone in Philly isn't a huge fan of the Vikings.

This weekend the Vikings will be playing the Eagles in Philidelphia. WCCO reports that just last night authorities discovered a statue of Viking explorer Thorfinn Karlsefni had been pushed over into the Schuylkill River.

This 7-foot, historic, bronze statue has been standing on Boathouse Row for 98 years. I can't believe someone did this, no matter what the reasoning was.

I am predicting, though, that this was done because of the Vikings vs. Eagles game that's coming up in Philly this weekend and there's someone who is very anti-Vikings. What do you think, do you think this could be a possible motive?
