Reba McEntire’s ‘Sing it Now’ Tops Country, Christian Charts
Reba McEntire's new album, Sing It Now: Songs of Faith and Hope, topped multiple charts after its release on Friday (Feb. 3).
Sing It Now debuts at No. 1 on both Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and Christian Albums chart, marking it her 13th chart-topping project. Additionally, the superstar came in at the No. 2 spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, selling nearly 55,000 copies.
Her chart-topping debut awards McEntire the title of having the most No. 1 country albums among women. The new gospel project, which features traditional hymns and contemporary songs, also includes collaborations with Trisha Yearwood, Kelly Clarkson and McEntire's 89-year-old mother and sisters.

“This album has been a huge gift to me. It has helped heal my heart and has let me know I can move forward with faith and hope. I am so thankful to God for His guidance that lead to this moment," McEntire says of Sing It Now in a press release. "I pray that everyone who listens to these songs, receives exactly what the Holy Spirit wants them to receive. These CDs go out to my family, friends and fans remembering these songs from their growing up years and to those who are just beginning to sing along. We could all use more faith and hope. I sure do appreciate yours!”
The album's first single, "Back to God," also claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs, with the poignant music video filmed at Nashville’s Tulip Street United Methodist Church and Mount Olivet Cemetery.
McEntire is set to take the stage at the historic Ryman Auditorium for two shows on Wednesday (Feb. 15).
