Prince was a tiny dude and wore platform shoes most of the time and many of them reflect the theme of the current music he was making or the current album/tour he was on the road promoting.

Mitch Maguire, Paisley Park’s legacy preservationist and curator of the exhibit told Vogue that, "Some of these shoes were in storage for over 30 years, a lot of work has gone into bringing them back to life."

Some shoes included in the exhibit are the suede sneakers with clear, light-up platform heels that he wore at the 2008 Coachella music festival, several pairs of shoes after he recorded the soundtrack for the 1989 'Batman' movie that feature either the Joker's colors or Batman's colors and many have the iconic Batman symbol on them, and a piar of platforms that say "Get Wild" on the toe and "Free Music" on the heel worn when he was battling the record companies for artists rights.
