Pine Island Teen Hurt in Highway 52 Crash
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Pine Island teenager was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic crash that snarled traffic on northbound Highway 52 in Rochester.
The State Patrol says the crash occurred around 4 pm just south of the 19th Street interchange when traffic slowed down and the car driven by 18-year-old Amanda Rogers smashed into the back of a pick-up truck. The collision caused the car to flip over and block the traffic lanes.
She was transported to St. Marys Hospital with what the State Patrol described as non-life threatening injuries. The 33-year-old Plainview man driving the pickup was not hurt.
