Due to flooding near the South Dakota/Minnesota border, parts of I-90 in both directions has been closed.

Flooding in Rock and Nobles counties has shut down a section of I-90, with water going over I-90. This impacts travel both west and eastbound, and you can find the detour HERE.

If you are traveling toward South Dakota, you will want to read ahead and take a different route to reach your destination. Hopefully, the flooding won't last long.

Rain showers are expected throughout the day in Southeast Minnesota, but it should clear up for a nice weekend with highs reaching the upper 70's.
