Over $138,000 Donated to Local Charities Thanks to Efforts by Rochester High Schools
Huge shoutout to all of the students, staff, and volunteers at Century High School, John Marshall High School, and Mayo High School! Once again, they helped make the Christmas season brighter for others and raised over $138,000 for local charities in the Rochester, Minnesota area.

Mayo High School Students and Staff Helped Raise Over $63,000 for 2 Rochester Charities
According to the big check that was posted on the Rochester Public Schools Twitter, Mayo High School raised $63,084.03 this year for the Dorothy Day House and the Rochester Women's Shelter. From the Twitter feed, it looks like students from other schools, specifically Bishop Elementary, helped with that total as well.
John Marshall High School Students and Staff Helped Raise Over $42,000 to 2 Rochester Charities
Big applause to the students and staff at JM because this year, they were raising money for Christmas Anonymous and The Family Promise and brought in $42, 160.56! I love it when I see teenagers out helping others in our world and John Marshall students not only helped raise a ton of cash for local charities, but they also volunteered 657 hours!
Century High School Students and Staff Helped Raise over $33,000 for 2 Rochester Charities
Huge applause to everyone who made this total possible too - $33,081.53 was raised by Century High School Students and Staff for Bear Creek Services and Childhood Cancer.
