NJCAA Basketball National Championships Headed To Rochester

Area sports fans will have an opportunity to enjoy some great basketball as Rochester, MN Sports along with Rochester Community & Technical College will be hosting the NJCAA Men's DIII Basketball Championship March 11-14.

The games will be played at the Rochester Regional Sports Center on the campus of RCTC. It is the third time that Rochester Sports has hosted the tournament after previously hosting NJCAA Championships in Women's Basketball, Wrestling, Softball, and Volleyball.

Nine of the 12 teams participating in the tournament finished the season nationally ranked in the top ten in the country, while the three others ranked in the top 15.

Herkimer, Richland (TX) and Sandhillls are three teams who are returning to the championship tournament from a year ago.

The games kick off at Noon on Wednesday, with every team playing at least two games. The Championship game will be played at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Here are the details on ticket prices and other tournament information.
