The Holidays are in full swing, so expect time to ZIP by super fast. Don't let it go by so fast you miss out on the fun things happening in and around Rochester and in Minnesota.

PMR set about finding the 150 most festive destinations in the USA...maybe not the best known, but certainly places you don't want to miss. One of these I think most of us have heard of...but the other two are new to me.

Scroll slowly and figure out which ones you'd like to take your family to.

Bentleyville's Tour of Lights in Duluth

"With more than four million lights decorating the nation’s largest free walk-through lighting display, the Bentleyville ‘Tour of Lights’ is the place to be when visiting Duluth. The Christmas tree centerpiece serves as a beacon of direction while navigating large displays, a tunnel of lights, and more." (Bentleyville)

What the heck is Bentleyville? According to the website,

"In 2001 Nathan Bentley first started decorating his home in Esko, MN for the Christmas season. For the next two years he continually added more lights to create a larger holiday light display; his home quickly became known as the “House with all of the lights in Esko.” In 2003 Nathan changed his light display from a “drive by” to a “walkthrough” with Santa Claus visiting on weekends."

And it grew, and grew, and eventually, Duluth said, "Hey, Mr Bentley, would you consider moving Bentleyville to Bayfront Park? Mr. B said,"Yup!" and now it has grown to a year round endeavor in preparation for the Christmas season.

You may not be able to afford it but I highly suggest adding this Rochester, Minnesota house to your wish list!
