Onamia, MN (KROC AM News) - A Brainerd woman was killed Thursday after being hit by a pickup truck that was traveling at a high rate of speed as she was walking out of a convenience store.

According to a Minnesota State Patrol report:  "The Chevrolet Silverado was traveling at a high rate of speed in the Super Stop parking lot and struck the pedestrian as she was leaving the store."
 

The State Patrol identified the victim as 72-year-old Gloria Rosekrans. She died at the scene.

The truck was driven by 69-year-old Brenda Beaulieu of Isle. She and two children in the truck were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The deadly incident happened around 6:30 PM in Onamia.
