Mantorville Man Seriously Hurt in Sunday Night Wreck (Updated)
Hader, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting a Mantorville man was seriously injured in a traffic wreck on Highway 52 Sunday night.
The wreck happened around 10:00 PM in Hader.
The Patrol says 23-year-old Joseph Biksacky was crossing Highway 52 to reach Highway 57 when his car collided with another vehicle. That car was driven by 25-year-old Danielle Knitter of Eau Claire, Wisc. who was headed south on Highway 52.
Both drivers were taken to St. Marys Hospital. The Patrol says Biksacky suffered life-threatening injuries. Knitter’s injuries were described as non-life threatening.
UPDATE: The initial patrol report indicated that it was believed alcohol was involved, however, according to Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Nibbelink, a BCA lab test confirmed that there was no alcohol in Biksacky's system at the time of the crash.
