It was a cross-division matchup, but the Cougars came out aggressive in the 3-0 sweep over Grand Meadow.

The #6 ranked Cougars came in with a quick start in Set's 1 and 2 to take down the Superlarks in straight sets. Several different Cougars contributed offensively, led by Sarina Storz and Payton Danielson who had seven and nine kills, respectfully.

The Cougars jumped out a 15-5 lead in the first set to get a 25-8 win, then used a 12-0 run in the second set to build a 21-6 lead and get a 2-0 lead.

With great play in the back-row and aggressive serving was the key for Mabel-Canton, with the help of Kendi McCabe quarterbacking the offense to help the Cougars take the third set 25-8. McCabe was all over the place leading the team in set-assist with 32 and also added five kills, and four ace serves. The team finished with 14 ace serves..

The Superlarks struggled to get into system, but had some nice play in the back row from Isabelle Olson and Hailey Hindt who each finished with 10 digs.

The Cougars advanced to 3-0 on the season with the win, while the Superlarks dropped to 2-1.
