Lois Riess Returns To Minnesota to Face Murder Charges
Owatonna, MN (KROC AM News) - A Blooming Prairie woman accused of killing her husband and later convicted of a murder in Florida has been returned to Minnesota.
58-year-old Lois Riess is being held in the Steele County jail, awaiting an appearance in Dodge County Court. As of Monday morning, no date had been scheduled.
Riess was sentenced to life in Florida last year for murdering a woman while on the run from Minnesota authorities.
She could enter a guilty plea or ask for a trial when she appears in court.
