I vividly remember my first experience at Lanesboro's Art in the Park.  While I enjoyed browsing all of the wonderful vendor booths and exchanging hellos with friends and neighbors, it wasn't until I saw my buddy Art Calanan.  It was official - I had seen "Art in the park"!  But I digress.

Art in the Park is a great venue to shop if you are into hand-crafted jewelry, homemade soap, paintings, stained glass, quilts, and bird houses.  It's so much more! The aroma of all sorts of food fills the park, sounds of music delight your ears, and kids' giggling makes you smile!

As is always the rule, this year Art in the Park will be held on Father's Day, Sunday June 19.  More than 90 vendors are anticipated.  Musical entertainment includes a folk-rock duo, The Homestead Act; Driftwood Bones from Winona; a female acoustic trio, The Coteries; and folk singers Pushing Chain.  Feast on egg rolls, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, pie, ice cream, craft beer and many more culinary treats.

I plan to be there and hope to see you at Art in the Park at Sylvan Park in Lanesboro.
