In 2009, The Library of Congress National Recording Registry added "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones, The Stanley Brothers "Rank Stranger", and The Kingston Trio's "Tom Dooley"

In 2013, Carrie Underwood is pulled over for going 56 miles an hour in a 45 zone in Nashville.
