St Paul (KROC AM News)  - The family of a southeast Minnesota man who was seriously burned in a motorcycle crash last month has revealed the victim died from his injuries.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office reported 43-year-old Benjamin Roemer of Kenyon and another man were riding their motorcycles near Berne on June 23rd when the crash occurred as they were passing an ATV.

Roemer’s motorcycle burst into flames and his clothing caught fire. He was being treated in the burn unit at Regions Hospital in St Paul. He died there last Saturday.

Roemer’s family has started a GoFundMe site to cover medical and other expenses.
