Kelly Clarkson tried her hand at a '90s country classic -- and nailed it -- during a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Showcover Shania Twain's early hit, "Any Man of Mine." Press play above to watch!

With help from fiddle player Cory Churko, Clarkson performs the boot-stomping classic in front of a live audience, encouraging an enthusiastic crowd to sing along. The performance comes as a part of the show dubbed "Kellyoke," in which Clarkson offers up her favorite classics from fellow artists.

Twain herself put her stamp of approval on Clarkson's performance. "Love this! [Clarkson] and Cory singing 'Any Man of Mine' on [The Kelly Clarkson Show]," the singer wrote on Twitter. "Any Man of Mine" became Twain's first chart-topping country radio hit in 1995, and was co-written by the singer and her then-husband and frequent collaborator, Robert John "Mutt" Lange.

Clarkson kicked off her "Kellyoke" segment before The Kelly Clarkson Show even premiered, previewing the show with a performance of Dolly Parton's iconic "9 to 5." At the time, Clarkson revealed that she was planning to perform a cover song during every episode. Since the show debuted on Sept. 9, the singer and host has covered hits such as Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man," Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends" and Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats."

The singer's Twain cover comes not long after Clarkson spoke out against modern country's failure to offer female artists equal radio airplay. During YouTube Q&A about her talk show, Clarkson took the genre to task, saying "Do you want me to go off on how many women [in country music] were so monumental in my [career]?” She added, “What is happening in country music? This is what’s happening. Y’all aren’t playing country music anymore.”
