Glen Taylor, according to Forbes, bought a wedding service business for $2 million in 1975 and turned it into Taylor Corp, a printing company that now brings in over $2 billion in sales annually. Taylor, who worked at the business while in college, stepped down as CEO in 2015 but still serves as chairman.

A proud Minnesotan, he holds stakes in several local sports teams, including the Timberwolves, the Lynx, and United FC. In 2014, he purchased the Minneapolis Star Tribune for nearly $100 million. On top of that, Taylor owns farmland in both Minnesota and Iowa.
