A magical moment happened as I was driving back to Minnesota on Thanksgiving Day and when I saw it, I was reminded how amazing the Christmas season truly is in the land of 10,000 lakes.

Magical Moment in Minnesota As I Was Driving on I-90

I ventured over to Wisconsin on Thanksgiving to celebrate the holiday with family, and obviously eat some pie.  We didn't have any snow but something else that was magical did make an appearance that day.

Since the world gets dark now at 4:30 pm, my drive home on I-90 was like driving at midnight.  It was only 6:00 pm but I felt like it was time for bed and I was near the Winona exit.  As my eyes were trying to focus on deer that wanted to join my lane, I noticed something sparkling in the distance - and as I got closer, it took my breath away.  Twinkle lights...lots and lots of twinkle lights were sparkling in magnitude on a tree.  It was gorgeous!
