Minnesota is on a winning streak with several people hitting major jackpots. The Minnesota Lottery has announced that the latest winning ticket has a massive payout, but no winner has come forward, so double-check your numbers.
Minnesota has had back-to-back Lotto America jackpot wins in less than two months.
Lotto America drawings happen thrice a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, starting at 9:20 p.m. If you want a shot at winning, you've got to get your tickets by 9:00 p.m. on drawing days.
The Minnesota State Lotto says that each draw offers nine different prize opportunities, and if you're feeling lucky, you can increase your winnings with the All-Star bonus.
Last month, there was a big winner who scored a whopping $3.73 million from a ticket purchased at Cub Foods in Roseville.
In the most recent win, the lucky person managed to match all six winning numbers, securing a multi-million dollar payout.
The Winning Numbers and Prize Amount
The winning numbers were 7-12-17-22-52, with the Star Ball being 3, resulting in a prize of $3.1 million. This winning ticket was sold at Cub Foods in Coon Rapids, earning the store a sweet $10,000 bonus.

To claim the prize the winner must visit the Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize and then 60 days from the claim date to decide whether they want the annuity or cash option. Once that's settled, they can expect to receive their prize within 60 days.
