Wednesday night was a great night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, and not just for the three players above.
The Iowa Hawkeyes dispatched of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County by a final of 103-81. The Hawkeyes had five players in double figures, but even that wasn't the best part of the night.
Patrick McCaffery had 14 points, but Iowa was led in scoring by Tony Perkins who poured in 23, dished out 7 assists, had 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.

The story of the night for Iowa was that three different Hawkeyes ended with double-doubles. The last time that happened was on December 9, 2013, when Iowa beat Farleigh Dicksonsin 92-59. That night, Melsahn Basabe had 12 points and 11 rebounds in just 16 minutes. Gabriel Olaseni scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 19 minutes, and Jarrod Uthoff had 10 points and 10 rebounds, also in 19 minutes on the court.
Junior Payton Sandfort led the way Wednesday night with 18 points and 10 rebounds, to go along with 6 assists in 26 minutes of court time.
Graduate Ben Krikke, who was on the floor for just over 31 minutes, scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

Freshman Brock Harding had Iowa's third double-double of the night and the first consisting of points and assists since Joe Toussaint two seasons ago.
In nearly 29 1/2 minutes on the court, his most this season, Harding scored 10 points and handed out 12 assists. That's the most assists by an Iowa freshman since Jordan Bohannon had 13 during the 2017 NIT against TCU. Harding also had four steals Wednesday night.
