
Motorcyclist Taken to Hospital After Smashing into Guardrail Near Wabasha
He lost control of the motorcycle he was driving then hit the guardrail
Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News)- A southeastern Minnesota crash sent a motorcycle operator to the hospital Saturday afternoon.

He was the only person involved in the crash. The State Patrol responded to the accident scene shortly before 4:30 p.m.

Motorcyclist Injured After Crashing into Guardrail Along Hwy. 60 Near Wabasha, MN
The motorcycle crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 60 and Wabasha County Rd. 13, which is about 12 miles west of Wabasha.
56-year-old Troy Roger Rutz of Willmar, MN was identified as the motorcycle operator.
He lost control of the motorcycle he was driving then hit the guardrail while traveling west on Hwy. 60, the state crash report says.
The crash sent Rutz to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. His injuries are being described as non-life-threatening.
Rutz was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the State Patrol says.
The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the motorcycle crash.
