The Caledonia Warriors got the #1 seed in the Section 1AA tournament and proved why throughout the entire tournament. It was no different in the Section Final, topping Byron 87-53.

It was hot shoot early for Owen and Noah King again, as the duo carried Caledonia to yet another victory. Noah was especially accomplished by attacking the rim in this game, beating his man off the dribble. He led the squad with 21 points in the first half, capped off with a half-court buzzer beater.

Owen was just as good at getting to the lane, and that was really the difference maker. Owen had 15 at the break, while Marten Morem had 8 and Sam Barthel had 11. The Warriors led 57-19 at the half.

It was a truly impressive performance from Caledonia, as they shared the basketball incredibly well,  attacked the lane and shot it well from deep. Byron, on the other hand, failed to get any offense going. The Bears trailed 15-2 early and could never recover.

The defense of the Warriors was furious as they pressured the basketball throughout the entire game, not giving Byron any room to operate.

The Warriors kept the pressure early on in the second half, pushing the lead to 66-26 early, and Byron just couldn't get back in the game.

Noah King finished with 27, while Owen King finished with 24, Morem 8 and Barthel 14. for Byron, Micheal Coble finished with 17, while Bjorn Knustonhad 11. The Bears struggled to score and the Warriors took advantage.
