Fourth Grader Collects Candy for the Troops
How a 4th Grader sees love: Let's make sure everyone feels love. In this case, it is a nine-year-old in Vail, Colorado named Libbie Stanton. She said she wants to do the program to remind the soldiers that we're thinking of them. According to CBS Denver,
Libbie, a student at Vail Mountain School, partnered with the Town of Vail to collect unused candy for the Soldiers’ Angels Treats for Troops program. The program ships donated candy to deployed service members stationed all over the world.
The goal is 1,000 pounds of candy. If you want to help out, you could use Amazon and send some candy to Vail Mountain School.
