Four Injured In Southeast Minnesota Crash
Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Mower County Thursday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, four people were injured when a Chrysler, driven by 22-year-old Cristina Lopez of Austin, was traveling westbound on County Road 2, and a Jeep, driven by 40-year-old Ronald Mackay of Austin, was traveling south on Highway 218. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
Both drivers were hurt in the crash and transported to the Austin Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, also injured in the Chrysler was 21-year-old Negrete Padilla-Gerardo of Adams who was transported with St. Mary's with non-life threatening injuries. A 10-year-old passenger was injured in the jeep as well, who was transported to Austin Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.
Gold Cross, Austin Fire, MnDOT and Mower County Sheriff's Office assisted in the crash.
