The Fillmore County Deputies issued a flood reminder, to remind area residents that after a bunch of snow, flooding has become a great concern, especially for those who live by waterways.

According to the Fillmore County Deputies Association Facebook Page, the crew issued a friendly reminder that those who live by any waterways should have a plan in place in case flooding does occur.

Of course, with the help of the National Weather Service, the Deputies reminded residents that we should see a big warm up this week, that could also bring a lot of rain with it. Rain is forecasted on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week, and with the combination of rain and warm weather have caused some concern for flooding in Fillmore County and Southeast Minnesota.

Be prepared if you do, and remember that the Fillmore County Deputies are always available to help/assist those in need.
