Fatal Wreck On I-94 Kills Two Minnesotans
Minneapolis, MN (KROC AM News) - Two Minnesotans are dead after a single-car crash in Minneapolis off of I-94.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a Chevy Blazer, driven by 22-year-old Antwanika Myles of Anoka, was traveling southbound on Interstate 94 on Sunday around 9:30 p.m. and took the 4th street exit ramp. Then, the vehicle went off the roadway to the east median between I-94 and the 4th street exit and collided with a bridge abutment.
Myles was killed in the wreck, along with one of the two passengers 20-year-old Tyrone Watkins, of Anoka. The other passenger, 39-year-old Tiffany Gordon of Minneapolis, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The road conditions were described as dry at the time of the incident.
