Kellogg, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 61 and Highway 42 near Kellogg Friday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports a pickup truck was traveling south on Highway 61 when it collided with a car just after 3:00 p.m.

The driver of the car was identified as 78-year-old James Gander of Kellogg. He was transported to the hospital in Wabasha where he died from his injuries. The driver of the truck was identified as 19-year-old Jaidyn Schultz of Welch. She was transported to the hospital in Wabasha with non-life-threatening injuries.
