Dodge Center Woman Injured in Mower County Crash
Blooming Praire, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Dodge Center woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Mower County Wednesday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that 23-year-old Courtney Dohrmann was driving east on County Road 1 and collided with another vehicle traveling north on Highway 218 around 6:30 am.
Dohrmann was transported to the hospital in Austin with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 48-year-old Brian Hamlin of Austin. He was not injured.
The State Patrol said that the road conditions were snow/ice-covered at the time of the incident.
State Patrol Responds To Over 450 Crashes in 26 Hour Span
The State Patrol's most recent statewide numbers indicate that troopers responded to 452 crashes from 5 am Tuesday until 7:30 am Wednesday. There were also 220 vehicle spin-outs.
In those 452 crashes, 44 involved an injury.
