It's one of downtown Rochester's most popular establishments and it looks like The Tap House might have found a site for its second location.

We'd heard last fall (back in November, on its sixth anniversary) that The Tap House was possibly set to expand into a second location, somewhere here in Minnesota's Med City. But at that point, just where the second location was going up was still a mystery.

Now, though, it looks like we know where it'll be. Maybe. The Tap House posted a graphic on their Facebook page last week that showed their familiar logo with a new name, "The Tap House West End."

And, yeah, that's a clue as to where the new location might be. And this Post-Bulletin story says that while nothing is set in stone just yet, the owners of The Tap House filed a site development plan for a part of northwest Rochester called the 'Northwest Commercial Center.'

The story goes on to explain that we more commonly know that area as the group of businesses located between West Circle Drive and 19th Street Northwest-- the same area that Costco and Five West call home.

Again, we don't know anything for sure, but if that's indeed the location at which the Tap House is looking at to build a second location, I'm all for it-- it's only about a mile and half from our house. Woo hoo!
