Country Music History September 22

The very first Farm Aid concert was held September 22, 1985 in Champaign, Illinois.  Sponsored by Willie Nelson, entertainers include Alabama, Bob Dylan, B.B. King, Roger Miller and several other country music greats.

Gene Autry's signature song "Back In The Saddle Again" was released by Vocalion records in 1939.

And in 2007, "Take Me There", a great tune written by Kenny Chesney and recorded by Rascal Flatts, is #1 on the Billboard charts.
