In 1977, the City of Nashville forms a minor league baseball team, aptly named "Nashville Sounds".  Team owners include Jerry Reed and Conway Twitty.

Oh, Willie.  In 1990, the IRS placed a lien on Nelson's property in the amount of 16.7 million dollars to insure that he pays back taxes in the amount of 6.5 million.
