Country Music History October 6

Lead singer of the band Little Texas, Tim Rushlow was born October 6, 1966 in Arlington, Texas.  Tim formed his own band, Rushlow, in 2002.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were married in Rayville, Louisiana in 1996.

In 1998, Alabama received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In 2011, Hank Williams, Jr,'s, "Are you ready for some football" was removed as the Monday Night Football telecast theme song.

And finally, a look at the Billboard country singles chart reveals the #1 song in 1990 to be Garth Brooks and "Friends in Low Places"; in 2012 the spot was held by Jason Aldean and "Take A Little Ride".
