Country Music History October 4

Good golly!  October fourth is a busy day for country music history!

Happy birthday to Sawyer Brown founding member, Gregg Hubbard, born in 1960 in Orlando Florida.  Trick Pony's Heidi Newfield was born October 4, 1970 in California. And in 2008, Evalyn Day Bentley was born in Nashville to parents Dierks and Cassidy Bentley.

"Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain" by Willie Nelson is #1 on the Billboard country singles chart.

And in 2001, The Country Music Hall of Fame inducted new members Don Gibson, Waylon Jennings, The Everly  Brothers, Webb Pierce, and Homer and Jethro.
