Half-way through the week and gearing up for more high school tournament action!  Until then, let's sharpen our knowledge of country music history.

Birthday wishes go out to the one and only Brad Paisley who was born October 28, 1972 in Glen Dale, West Virginia.

In 2010, the Giants and Rangers were playing in the World Series in San Francisco.  The national anthem was sung by Lady Antebellum.  Giants won 9-0.

On the Billboard Country Chart in 1995, at the #1 spot we find "Dust On The Bottle" by David Lee Murphy.

And in 2001, awakened from his sleep in the early morning hours with the inspiration, Alan Jackson wrote "Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning", his tribute to the attacks on the World Trade Center the previous month.  Jackson recorded the song the very next day.
