George Strait dominates country music history for today!

October 23, 2004, "I Hate Everything" is #1 on the Billboard singles chart.  In 1993, it's George Strait again at the top of the Billboard chart with "Easy Come, Easy Go".

Happy birthday to Dwight Yoakam born in Pikeville, Kentucky in 1956; and Jimmy Wayne who was born in 1972 in North Carolina.

The Grand Ole Opry inducted new member Blake Shelton on October 23, 2010.
