Country Music History October 22

Arlington, Texas set the scene back in 2011 for the Rangers Vs St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series.  Ronnie Dunn sang our national anthem.  Cardinals won 16 to 7.

In 1963, David Allan Coe began serving a prison sentence for possession of burglary tools and car theft.  Coe was sentenced to four years incarceration at Ohio State Pen.

Two country music stars were honored on October 22.  In 1965, the Country Music Hall of Fame inducted Ernest Tubb.  And in 2008 at Madame Tussaud's in New York, a wax figure of Carrie Underwood was premiered.
