Hope you enjoyed the gorgeous weather over the weekend!  Let's get down to another week of country music history.

In 1949, "Chattanooga Shoe Shine Boy" was recorded by Red Foley.  Shoe Shine Boy became the first million-selling country music single.

In 1998, the Dixie Chicks were #1 on the Billboard country singles chart with "Wide Open Spaces".

"O, Brother Where Art Thou?" soundtrack won Album of the Year during the CMAs in 2001.  "I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow" from the same movie received Single of the Year honors.
