Seeking treatment for addiction to pain killers, Tammy Wynette entered the Betty Ford Clinic in 1986.
Looking at the Billboard country singles chart, the #1 song in 1978 was "Sleeping Single In A Double Bed" sung by the fabulous Barbara Mandrell.  Dierks Bentley held the #1 spot on the chart in 2006 with "Every Mile A Memory".
