Country Music History November 26

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Thanksgiving parades highlight country music history today.  In 1998, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade highlights included JoDee Messina, Kenny Rogers, and Martina McBride all riding on floats and performing.  Carly Simon, Jimmy Fallon and Billy Currington were all in the same parade back in 2009.

In 2011, Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles married her sweetie Justin Miller.

Poor Willie was in trouble again.  In 2010, Nelson was arrested in Texas for possession of six ounces of marijuana.

Happy birthday to singer Linda Davis, born in 1962 and Joe Nichols born in 1976 in Rogers, Arkansas.
