Here's the mid-week country music history low-down.

One of my favorite game shows was "Hollywood Squares".  Back in 2001 on November 18, two of the squares were Jamie O'Neal and Brad Paisley.  I missed that episode!

"Urban Cowboy" was such a huge movie and was filled with awesome music.  One of the biggest songs from the flick was "Lookin' For Love" by Johnny Lee.  Lee received a gold single for the song in 1980.

I find this quite interesting.  Hank Williams' hit "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" was released in 1949 by MGM records on the "B" side of "My Bucket's Got A Hole In It". Apparently record producers didn't think "Lonesome" would sell and become a hit. Boy, were they wrong!
