Good Monday morning to you!  Without further ado, let's get down to business!

Looking at the Billboard country singles chart for November 16, in 1982 we find "I Will Always Love You" and Dolly Parton.  In 1993, the #1 spot was occupied by Clay Walker and "What's It To You", and in 2004, a catchy little tune by Sara Evans "Suds In The Bucket".

In 2012, the Grand Ole Opry welcomed newest member, Darius Rucker.

The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inducted two new members in 2011 - Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson.

And in 1972, Loretta Lynn was the first woman to win the CMA Entertainer of the Year Award.  Loretta also won the Vocal Duo award with Conway Twitty, and Female Vocalist of the Year Award.
