Whew -plenty of country music birthdays today so here goes!

1924  One of the best guitarists ever, Chet Atkins, was born in Luttrell, Tennessee.

1945  Anne Murray is born in Springhill, Nova Scotia.  Anne is known for her warm voice and such hits as "Snowbird", "Shadows In The Moonlight" and "You Needed Me".

Rutland, Vermont is the birthplace of Dan Tyminski, born this date in 1967.  Dan is probably most known for singing lead on The Soggy Bottom Boys "I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow".

"Stealing Cinderella" singer, Chuck Wicks, was born in 1979 in Dover, Delaware.

And Eli Young Band drummer, Chris Thompson, was born in Bend, Oregon in 1980.
