In 2015, The Rolling Stones put on a concert at Nashville's LP Field. Brad Paisley was the opening act. Carrie Underwood joined Paisley on stage and sang "Remind Me".
"Summertime" by Kenny Chesney was #1 on the Billboard country singles chart in 2006 and remained #1 for five weeks.
"Two More Bottles of Wine" by Emmylou Harris was in the #1 spot in 1978.
And in 1949, member of The Amazing Rhythm Aces, Russell Smith, was born in Nashville.
