Country Music History July 25

Happy Monday gang.  Let's hope the weather takes a turn toward the better this week.

Jason Aldean's drummer, Rich Redmond, was born July 25, 1970 in Norwich, Connecticut.  You can hear Rich's talent on "Big Green Tractor" and "Dirt Road Anthem".

"Don't Close Your Eyes" earns gold album status in 1989 for the late Keith Whitley.

The movie soundtrack "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" is certified double-platinum in 2001.  The album is packed with great songs and artists including The Soggy Bottom Boys, Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris and John Hartford.

Harper Rosie Maguire is born in 2008 to parents Dixie Chick Martie Maguire and her husband Gareth.
